· To build capacity and strategic wherewithal on AI governance within industry, thought, and policy leaders in the Global Majority, with particular focus on the regions of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and West and Central Asia, through targeted training, policy advising, and collaborative research.
· To develop and provide practical, policy-driven recommendations that position Hong Kong as an emerging AI governance hub in Asia, leveraging its unique geopolitical and institutional standing.
· To enhance dialogue and knowledge exchange amongst leading global AI actors, researchers, and policymakers on issues centralised around Sino-US AI international coordination.
· To disseminate knowledge and educate the broader public about the complexities, risks, and opportunities associated with global AI governance, ensuring a broad-based understanding and engagement.
